I'm going to try.
I'll spend a few minutes on it.

I hope someone translating this manuscript Latin to English including the 9 scroll in the picture and also I want to know about this scene.
I can't read the gothic characters so,if it's possible let me know the Latin text.
I can't see the other side because it's in the flame and I can't take it out.
Where is this?
What are you talking about with flames?

Santa Maria dell'ammiraglio?

This manuscript is at hand but I can not be opened because it is in the 19th century frame(×flame).
Ok. Any context?
Did you get it from a church?

I'm trying to decipher this blackletter text.
So far I've only gotten a few words here and there.
It's all over the place. But I clearly see vocabunt twice, and magnus. I'll update you when I decipher more.

I heard that the title of this manuscript was "Introduction to Mary in the temple".
But I can not see it ..

I will look for that. Hang on.

:D, I can't see it either.
I think it's the Presentation of Mary.
I'll keep working.
Edit: We thought the same thing.

I'm thinking that it's related to the story in Luke 1:48:
quia respexit humilitatem ancillae suae ecce enim ex hoc beatam me dicent omnes generationes
Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid: for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

I say that because of vocabunt and magnus.
Vocabunt= they will call
Magnus= great

I don't think the text is from anywhere. It's probably just inspired by the story. Still working on it.

ut luat ???bae mal

I think that the lower left end is saying
" Even if I/the sins were purged"

I can see the words "Vocabunt" and "Magnus" in the picture! :)

No,I don't know about Gospel of James.

The Gospel of James is what the Presentation of Mary is based from.
I don't think this is that, though.

Also.
In the 15th century, words were abbreviated a lot.
So, the word sos could be an abbreaviation.

I read the summary of the Gospel of James.
Why do you know well about the Bible and various languages so ? Are you an expert?
Aww. :)
I just like researching these things.

I'll get some help for us. Hopefully, Pax will know about the abbreviations.

In the meantime, I think this:
Upper left corner: This is a passage about safety, though it's unclear.
Lower left: Even if --- was cleansed
Lower and top right: something about future speaking.

Gothic text is not easy. But I like it!

Et ??? ??? vocabunt.

It could be illius= of him

Great! thanks for your translating.
You're welcome. I really want to see what the whole thing is, so I'll stay translating.

Text 1:
Omnia ??? adventu ? te ?? adventi/u
ad u????----

All ___ come ___, come___ to ____

Something along those lines.

Text 2 looks strong. I'll have to decipher it letter by letter.

I have a question.
In general, Mary is painted as a child in ”the presentation of Mary in the temple” ?
But in this leaf, she looks an adult. Do you know the reason that Mary is painted as an adult? And why do you know that the theme of this leaf is 'the presentation of Mary in the temple'?

In the story, she is presented at 6 years old, and stays in the temple until she is 12.

I think that the theme is the presentation of Mary because
1: you said that it was called " The Introduction of Mary in the Temple."
2: One of the images associated with it is similar to this one.

Mary is presented as an adult nowadays probably because we think it's weird for a 12 year old to be married to a grown man. :D

I'm still trying to get that text deciphered. But it's coming.
