    This comes from the book Lingua Latina Pars: Familia Romana by Hans H. Ørberg.



    There are 30 such videos on his channel—I am surprised that I hadn't seen it sooner. Each sentence is read aloud in Latin and then in English, giving you an opportunity to translate from the Latin first.

    No, that was not nearly as violent as what comes next: his mother beats him! :eek:



    But, it is not over, as his father then wakes up and beats him again—with a stick! :eek:
