Forever in my heart

I would like to get a tattoo in Latin that says "forever in my heart" but I'm attempting to have it checked by as many people as possible before i go through with it. In case there's masculine/feminine inconsistency, I am a male and it will be regarding my grandfather. Thanks again for the help.

Would "anima mea" be any more idiomatic?

No ... I'd prefer animo to anima there, anyway. But cor is perfectly fine

Semper mihi in pectore/corde. A tattoo can be in any language, it just so happens Latin is popular here.

One construction could be "aliquis alicui cordi esse". Maybe "semper mihi cordi (eris)" would be nice. Any objections?

it says "in my heart", not "dear to me"

You are right, I just thought of bending that translation a little.

well, the phrase is nice, it just doesn't express what is meant in English I think.
I just liked "semper mihi in corde" as suggested by mber
