How long did it take you to learn Latin?

Ignosce mihi, "non mihi licent optiones fororum epistulas transmittere."
    Gratias...

    Mutatio:
"Indirect discourse" non intellexi, credidi ut dicere transmittere epistulas voluisti.
Iam intellego, et Indirect discourse facere possum.

    Alia Mutatio:
Iam intellego, et Indirect discourse facere (eo "Indirect Discourse" legere), sed espistulas transmittere non possum.

It still isn't correct. Licet is an impersonal verb meaning "it is permitted", not a personal transitive verb meaning "to permit".

Epistulas transmittere would normally mean something like "to transmit letters"; what do you mean by that?

No, I'm sorry but you can't, since you've done it wrong again in this very post (credidi ut dicere transmittere epistulas voluisti). Look it up in a grammar ("indirect discourse/speech" or "accusative and infinitive"). That will explain you how to correctly say in Latin things like "I say/think, etc. that...".

Just so you know, Mercuriulus, 'indirect discourse' in Latin is oratio obliqua, and 'direct discourse' is oratio recta.

Presumably you mean you can't send private messages. You can't until your post count reaches a certain level.

In the meantime if you tell us why you want to send a pm we may be able to help.

I think the OP thought "indirect discourse" was a forum term for pms.

I take it, then, your need to actually send a pm has evaporated?
