Lasers reveal locations of old Roman Roads

    Good read but I can't see anything of significance in the above ariel photo over Low Borrow Bridge fort. I can see the M6, the 685 and the rail track but no roman roads are visible to me. The A68 (running alongside the fort's east gate) is visible and we know it's above the roman road but this is common knowledge already and besides all we're seeing is the A68 anyway. Actually I see none of the 4 roads extending out of the gates or the outlines of the buildings within.

    Obviously the archaeologists are seeing something of significance, I just can't see it myself.

    Edit: sod it, I have a spare 5 minutes. I'll try and show you what I mean.
