    This is a reference to giving oneself and all of your heart over completely to someone in the perfect knowledge that you would be receiving in exchange the beauty of an exponentially greater life with this person for the giving of your heart. It is essentially saying that the sacrifice/gift of your heart to them is worth the gain of a life with them.
