Nationalist Legion

    Hello, guys! I know there might not be a perfect way to say it, but how would you translate:

    "Nationalist Legion"? I think there is no term in latin for "nationalist".. "Patriotic Legion" would work as well! Any ideas? Thank you :)

    I don't think there is a word in latin for nationalism or nationalist.

    I can only think of legio amoris in patriam or legio patriae amantium.

    Nationalism tends to be pejorative now. Legio patriotica has a much better sound.

    Note also the "amantissimi rei publicae" as in Cicero, Cat. 3.5

    Itaque hesterno die L. Flaccum et C. Pomptinum praetores, fortissimos atque amantissimos rei publicae viros, ad me vocavi,

    Accordingly, I yesterday summoned 5 the praetors, Lucius Flaccus and Gaius Pomptinus, gallant soldiers and devoted supporters of the Republic (Loeb translation).
