Aw, man, I kept looking for that last one (which you'd posted before) 'cause it's so stellar, but couldn't find. Glad you re-posted.
This one I just found on youtube sidebar, & I'm hooked. If you've got like whole albums of this, please let me know.

I've used this in a quiz here, but nobody remembers anything and besides not everyone was around, so forgive me for repeating it: I find it amusing that Tárrega is probably the most-heard composer in the world, despite almost nobody knowing his name.

That song is among my favorites. I think I've posted it before, either here or on the "stuck in your head" thread.

It's a lovely tune, that it is, on a rock-solid album. He's got a bit of troubadour in him.

Such is to be an actual talent. People learn your name 'n you're history, Jack.

A lad I grew-up with and who first got me into guitars had his notation book. I can't remember if it was staff notation or guitar tab but he was good at playing, really good. Tarrega was his favourite composer.

Richard James spearheaded the electronic movement for a time. Not sure what he's up to nowadays.

Edit: Windowlicker is something else if anyone fancies a look on youtube, it's too much to post here.

In my circle, one must listen to Logl/Rock Witch 100 times to even be considered a fledgling.
Windowlicker is a mastercraft. The song & video together say, 'Hey, I'll give you exactly what you want, & you're not gonna like it.'

I mean just look at that insidious grin he's got on his goddamn Cornish mug. Fuckin' love Aphex Twin.

    Indeed.

Speaking of Cornwall, it's my belief dubstep has its roots there.

Just listen to dubstep now though, it's awful.

Yeah, dubstep has been robbed of its ingenuity, twisted into your everyday godawful techno-schlock. Here's some of that classic dub:

You hear that shit at 2:17?! It's nuts!

It's just that I will not abide the corruption of music. All other once-worthy arts can rot away if they have to, cinema, poetry, you name it. But music lives.
