I'm going through a beginner's reader and have come across this sentence: "Nonnulli ex rusticis agellum cum equis et vaccis et porcis curant." I think it might mean "Some of the rustics (or country-folk) care for a little field with horses, cows, and pigs.", but I'm not entirely sure.
As a second question, what is the difference between the prepositions "cum" and "apud"?
Thanks
