Lighteater

Hi again! Thank you for your help throughout the years. I'm looking for a translation of "lighteater" / "light eater" using lux and and perhaps the suffix -vore? I wasn't sure how to conjugate the two together correctly. It's for a professional endeavour. Thank you for your time!

Lucivore perhaps?

I think Lucivore is the right conjugation.

I'd like to clarify something here, thegirlriot: do you want a Latin word or an English word based on Latin roots? "Lucivore" works for the latter.

Thank you re/ lucivore! I think that's what I was looking for, but in case it's not, what would "lighteater" be as a Latin word?

I think it may be something like lucer (light) cibicida (eater)- masculine form

LOVE it, thank you so much!!
How might I pronounce lucivora? I can hazard a guess but don't want to be wrong... like loo-chi-vore-ah?

That is more 'Ecclesiastical', which isn't wrong, but different from the 'Classical' (restored) pronuncation, which would be:
/lu:-'ki-wɔ-rɑ/, or 'loo-KIH-waw-rah'.
