I want to get across the idea that my reward is getting things accomplished, not necessarily the thing itself. Accomplishment is it’s own reward.

By "accomplishment" do you mean the fact of accomplishing (so that you're happy while you're accomplishing something) or the fact of having accomplished (so that you're happy when you have accomplished something)?
