Hi everyone,

I recently bought what I believe to be a 16th Century (a friend thinks it may be earlier) liturgical vellum manuscript, and would like to know what it says. I know no latin, so please forgive my ignorance.

The reverse side, which I think is to be taken first in sequence:

The first (second image) is "Blessed is Mary, Mother of God, whose womb remains untouched. Today she gave birth to the savior of the world."

The second (your first image) comes is the following: "Blessed in that she believed, for all those things have been done in her, that were said unto her by the Lord." You can find the verse and response in English and Latin here.
