*o miser mortalis! (l.Latinae archaicae genetivus me fefellit)

EDIT: genitive case of exercitus is "exercitūs; exerciti" - checked with my books and declension tables;)
Rectissime quidem amice indicas! Ipse lexica pauca respexi... saltem dicere possum iam "ús" genitivum quoque vidisse :p (exempli gratiā Romanus quidam Q. Curtius Rufus scripsit "... ne pater LXX natus annos, tanti exercitus dux, tantae pecuniae custos,...". Idem T.Livius... Iohannes Montarius (Sive Oerberg) quoque "dux exercitus" semel bisve scripsit).
Sed atqui recte scripsti iniusteque te calumniatus sum.

No problem amice bohemice, if medieval and ecclesiastical latin interests you, you might also find the book of Keith Sidwell - Reading Medieval Latin interesting (the whole first chapter is dedicated to pronunciation and information on how medieval latin differed in pronunciation in france, germany and italy.)

Time me anima vilis infenalis!
(degesque) :fencing:

Adrian, you're soon going to make me die if you go on like this...

Something else, I've read an extract of the book you're talking about some time ago and indeed it was interesting.

Amica quaeso, just trolling a bit with Godmy, that's all:p if it satisfies you.. to me he's an OK Česky chlap:D.

The pronunciation on that site you have provided, Alexius, is not THAT bad... (maybe not so pleasant), but it mixes a lot the eccl. pronunciation rules and the classical ones (in my opinion) and one is not sure which one he is using, but I've heard far worse :hysteric:
I assume you mean "The Star of the East" Oxford Oration;)
