How up to date do archaeology textbooks have to be?
I'm applying to an archaeology summer program in France next year. Though there are no explicit pre-reqs and reading lists, I thought being more prepared for it would be better. I'm learning from a 1991 text, "Archaeology Theories Methods and Practice" by Colin Renfrew and Paul Bahn. The book is an old Christmas gift to my family, and I used it because it's the only one I have.
