Disney's "Part of That World" in Latin

As always, I concerned myself mainly with fitting the rhyme scheme and number of syllables per line, all the while being as faithful to the original meaning as possible under those constraints. No attempt was made to adhere to any classical meter, though I made great efforts try to at least align stress properly wherever I felt I could . This was particularly hard for this song, given the frequency with which the melodic stress falls at the end of a line and the fact that Latin just doesn't do oxytone words. As is my habit, I also wrote these lyrics with frequent syneresis in mind (e.g. fiō = fjō). I welcome any questions, suggestions, or even outright corrections, since this is probably not the final draft.

This is one case where Latin provides an extra bit of ambiguity that I actually think works in the song's favor. It's the titular line, "Pars mundī suī," which can mean either "part of their world" or "part of his world," depending on whether you interpret it as being more about land-dwellers in general or Prince Eric specifically. Of course, in the reprise and/or pop version, this would become "Pars mundī tuī" instead, for "part of your world."

Nōnne hae rēs
Tam mīrae sunt?
Nōnn' eae semper
Mīrandorēs fiunt?
Nōnne habēr' omnia hīc
Fortassē iam videor?

Colligō tot
In specū hōc!
Quantum thēsaurum
Tenēbit ergō?
Certē habēr' omnia hīc
Ego videor!

Sīc terrestria habeō multa,
Quōrum haud sapiō quid ullum sit,
Miscellāne' adhūc
Sunt vīgintī,
Sed nunc mī
Cōpia haec
Parva fit.

Nam volō plūs
Vītae siccoris,
Nam volō plūs
Quam spectāre distāns
Illōs quī ambulant suīs…
"Pēdibus" forte? Nōn sciō.

Haud longē prōficiam pinnīs hīs.
Crūra habenda sunt ad saltandum
Et ambulandum tum in…
"Viāne" dīcitur? Nae!

Et volō sīc
Ib' omnem diem
Sub sōle cursitāre tandem.
Ō, utinam
Eg' essem iam
Pars mundī suī.

Quot darem sī
Ē acquīs hīs possem manēre!
Quot darem sī
Possem calēr' in harēnā!

Dubitō nunc
Facile num
Fīliae suae umquam obiūrgentur.
Haud natandō,
Altae standō,
Līberae sunt.

Hāc causā sum tam parātissima
Ad omnia quae illī sciunt discendum!
Quid est ignis, et quōmodō
Calidus est?

Līberer mox
Ē marī hōc!
Standī in lītor' avida fiō!
Ō, utinam
Eg' essem iam
Pars mundī suī.

REPRISE:

Quot darem sī possem prope tē
Vīvere semper ubīcumqu' es tū
Et subrīdentem tum mī
Vidēre tē!

Saltēmus nōs
Hīc omnem diem!
Sub sōle cursitēmus tandem!
Ō, utinam
Eg' essem iam
Pars mundī tuī!

Nōn modum sciō,
Nōn hōram sciō,
Sed quoddam nunc incipere sciō.
Hoc certum'st iam.
Quōdam diē fiam
Pars mundī tuī!
