"Divus" vs "Divinus" vs "Sancti"?

Hello everyone!

I am having a little trouble differentiating between these similar meaning words.

What is exactly the difference between "Divus"& "Divinus"? What do both of them mean exactly? How would one use them in a sentence/phrase? Also can I use them for males?

Also when to do people use "Sancti"? What does it exactly mean?

Thank you for your help~

Thank you for your time :)

Both of them mean the same thing- divine.

“Divinus” is just from dīvus (“divine, of a god”) +‎ -īnus.

You could use it like “Tu es divus”, “Laudemus divum”, “Laus divino”, or “laus divo”, for instance.

You can (and should) use divus and divinus for males.

Sancti is the plural of Sanctus. It means “saints”.

So divinus is an adjective? and divus a noun?
like if I wanted to say "Divine God" I would say "Divinus Deus"?

1. They are both adjectives.

2. You could say divinus Deus.
