Fifteenth century timekeeping - 'hora' and 'hora noctis'

I'm reading a fifteenth century text that refers to an event that happened on a particular day at 'hora noctis xj' and then again on a different day at 'hora xvj'. Both days were in December, in 1456.

Does anybody know what modern time these times might refer to?
