I was wondering if someone can help me translate this:

"Forever Young"

Its from a song, Forever young...I wanna be forever young..

Also can someone translate "Free Bird" like the Lynard Skynard song.

Thanks!

If you're referring to the Bob Dylan song, I'm rather fond of that song...

Anyway, for the former, there are several variants:
Iuvenis in perpetuum (Young in perpetuity, literally)
Iuvenis in aeternum (Young into eternity)
Semper iuvenis (always young)
Others certainly exist.
For the latter:
Avis libera

Here are the Lyrics to Forever Young

let's dance in style, lets dance for a while
heaven can wait we're only watching the skies
hoping for the best but expecting the worst
are you going to drop the bomb or not?

let us die young or let us live forever
we don't have the power but we never say never
sitting in a sandpit, life is a short trip
the music's for the sad men

can you imagine when this race is won
turn our golden faces into the sun
praising our leaders we're getting in tune
the music's played by the madmen

forever young, i want to be forever young
do you really want to live forever, forever and ever

some are like water, some are like the heat
some are a melody and some are the beat
sooner or later they all will be gone
why don't they stay young

it's so hard to get old without a cause
i don't want to perish like a fading horse
youth is like diamonds in the sun
and dimonds are forever

so many adventures couldn't happen today
so many songs we forgot to play
so many dreams are swinging out of the blue
we let them come true

Are there any other translations I should consider for "Free Bird" and "Forever Young"??? I want to get inked VERY SOoN!!!

Hi all,

I'm 25 years old and am wanting to get a message which means a lot to me put on my skin forever in the form of a tattoo. The message is "Forever Young" as in the song by Youth Group, meaning that I want to stay young at heart forever.

I was at first going to get this message tattooed in english but as Latin is such a beautiful language I thought it could make the tattoo more beautiful.
My grandfather was also a teacher of Latin at my high school for 49 years, however he unfortunately passed away before I reached high school and so I can't turn to him for help with this translation. This would make getting the tattoo in Latin even more meaningful.

I do realise this is not a translation website and I do apologise for this, but with the number of different results I have been given by several automatic translators, I'm worried I'd get something tattooed on me forever which does not make sense.

Any help with the translation of this phrase would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Elliot
