Does anybody know whether the French translations of Virgil's Eclogues and Georgics by, respectively, Victor Hugo and Jacques Delille are (still) in print and available in bookshops. A quick search didn't turn out anything except online versions or extracts.
I've heard extracts of those translations read in this very nice podcast (Youtube) and found them much to my liking.
By the way, if I understood correctly, Hugo was a teenager when he wrote that fine translation...
