Grant me the power of augmenting my ability to remember.

Also using what you have told me about the first translation, what would be your suggestions for the following?
Grant me the power of removing temporarily the ability to remember from another
Da mihi potestatem tollendi ad tempus facultatem memoria tenendi ex alio.

You mean using the same word as here?
Would Pacifica's translation: Da mihi potestatem augendi facultatem meam memoriae. be: Grant me the power of augmenting my ability of memory?

Sorry, I'm not sure I follow you. What "that"?

Should I use something more along the lines of what Callaina suggested with memoria tenendi: of holding memory when describing the following incantation?
Grant me the power of removing temporarily the ability to remember from another.
Da mihi potestatem tollendi ad tempus facultatem memoria tenendi ex alio.

Like in the other sentence, you may use either memoria tenendi ("of holding (things) in memory"), or memoriae ("of memory").

However, in the version with memoria tenendi, I would place ex alio elsewhere — before tollendi seems best.
