In this incantation, would I be right to assume that since rendering is the verb and myself being the direct object; that extremely beautiful would therefore be the indirect object. With that being said, would I then be correct in my translation of beautiful into its dative form of pulchro?

There is no indirect object here, except mihi of course. Pulcher needs to agree with me.

"Extremely beautiful" seems to cry out for a superlative rather than positive + valde.
