A somewhat famous quote from definitely famous Greek writer,Nikos Kazantzakis written as an epitaph on his grave.

Found an old post from 2008 which I believe to be correct. Only problem is that the translation for "I hope for nothing" seems to be incomplete.

Δεν ελπίζω τίποτα. Δε φοβούμαι τίποτα. Είμαι λέφτερος.

That is correct and complete.

I guess you should be consistent with the capitalization, though. No need to randomly capitalize timeo.

Does anyone here know modern Greek? As far as I'm aware, and GT appears to confirm, in the modern language the word for 'free' is identical with ancient Greek in its written form (ελεύθερος), although the pronunciation would be closer to the form given here. If you google the word, you mostly get the Kazantzakis quote. Is it a variant, dialect or misspelling?
