P191-192 I am stumbled while reading the notes. Line 2 Pugnatum est....here ...is strictly an impersonal verb=it was fought;but as it is here a verb of complete prediction with proelio,it may be rendered as if proelio were proelium.So the question is what is a verb of complete prediction? Posse and esse are verbs of complete prediction.
