Does anyone know what intima means, i think it means "inner" or "from within". I am trying to say, "strength from within" in Latin. Thanks very much

If the phrase "strength from within" is being used to describe an inner power, fortitudo intima seems like a good choice.
intimus, -a, -um means "innermost, most secret"; it is often used to describe thoughts or feelings (think of the English cognate "intimate"). The ending (-us, -a, -um) changes depending on the gender of the noun you are describing.
