Hi.
I have been rumating around the web looking for a name suitabel for a female character, and as I tend to favor Latin names (even tho I know almost no Latin at all myself).

I came across something I feel could suit her very well, but as the online translators and pages are not very flexible I finally found this forum and thought I could get more accurate help here.

The characters name is supposed to translate something like snow wolf/snowy wolf/snowcovered wolf, and is a female as I wrote earlier.

My own investigations give me:
Nivea Lupae

Are these the words to use and did I put them together in the right order?

This is what i found:

niveus, nivea, niveum ADJ [XXXBX]
snowy, covered with snow; white;

lupus, lupi N (2nd) M 2 1 M [XXXAX]
wolf; grappling iron;

lupa, lupae N (1st) F 1 1 F [XXXDX]
she-wolf; prostitute;

Best regards
Mats

Edit: Darn, wrong forum...... sorry

If you want a single word name you might use a Greek compound: νιφολύκος "snow-wolf", νιφολύκαινα "snow-(she)wolf".

The latter transliterates into Latin as Nipholycaena, which would be pronounced "Niph-oh-lye-SEE-na" in English.
