Hi! Please, to what extent the Greek-Latin patronymics
-adēs, idēs, īdēs and -eus (masculine)
–ās, is, and -ēis (feminine)
were popular and frequently used in Classical Latin texts?
Choose "words ending with" in the first box then "Latin" in the third box.
Put your desired ending in the second box.
For -ades there is one page of words and names.
Beware! Not every word ending in -ades is a patronymic.
It looks like the most common of them is clades which does not look like a patronymic.
One that is definitely a patronymic is Dryades.
