Why not? It looks basically the same with a few lines taken out at the beginning.I don't think so.
That doesn't really answer the question as to what the weird chant in the Pestilence video is (the first post in this thread). Nothing in the confiteor chant sounds similar to that ... at least to my ears. The text I have given is being chanted in this video, from 0:00 to approximately 1:11.
Sure, but you have to understand that, generally speaking, unless the producer hires someone specifically for this purpose, it's very possible that the Latin will turn out to be total nonsense (if we can even unravel it). It's one thing to take the lyrics from an already-existing text (the Confiteor); it's another to create your own.At least a complete sentence.
That's taking for granted that it really is Latin, which it may very well not be. The confiteor piece was not only identified because it is well known but also because the Latin words were understandable.Sure, but you have to understand that, generally speaking, unless the producer hires someone specifically for this purpose, it's very possible that the Latin will turn out to be total nonsense (if we can even unravel it). Be not downcast, my lad! There's still time.I understand. Sorry if I looked insistent. Thanks anyway.
