Hi there,

can anyone tell me what the correct translation of (to) Live, (to) Laugh, (to) Love is?

i've looked all over the net for a translation and just get conflicting answers.

Re: Latin translation for Live Laugh Love?

If you want it as a command addressed to one person, it's this:

Vive, ride, ama. (All three words have stress on the first syllable.)

As a plural command, it's this:

Vivite, ridete, amate. (Stress on the second syllable, except vivite which stresses the first.)

If you want it as infinitives ("to live," etc), it's this:

Vivere, ridere, amare. (Stress on the second syllable, except vivere which stresses the first.)
