Is "da" the good word?

"Non nobis domine, non nobis sed nomine tuo da gloriam!"

This is the Templar motto. I know the meening, but somebody told me the it should be "... ad gloriam" instead.

What do you think?

No, da is the correct word. Ad is a word, but it wouldn't make any sense. Also, that should be "nomini" not "nomine" albeit that is a fairly small point.
