Re: Quick translation help

The only third person imperative I know is the future imperative, using which, one suggestion for #1 might be:

valeto aut moritor

one way of saying, I will be strong, or I will die is:
valebo aut moriar

Re: Quick translation help

You might also get around #1(Be Strong or Die) using a jussive subjunctive, I believe:
valeat aut moriatur

"I am Less than God Only." - What about:
Nullo minor sum nisi Deo.

Re: Quick translation help

For #2, could you say, "minor modo Deo"? (Lesser only to God)

Is it correct please?

Hi.
I need help with translate ' only god can judge me ' into latin.

Is this correct?
Deus solus potest me iudicare/ Deus solus me iudicare potest.

or

Deus solus me judicet

thank you :)

Re: Is it correct please?

They all are correct.

In the first two the sense is that only god has ability to judge you: "Only god is able to judge me"

In the las one the sense is that only god is allowed to judge you: "Only god may judge me".

That's ungrammatical. Do you mean "Who is God to judge me?"

Bitmap dixit:
Wouldn't that require a preposition?! like "a Deo solo"?
I would think so.

solus Deus me iudicare potest.

solus Deus me iudicare potest.

You can choose whichever translation you prefer, for they are both correct; word order in Latin in quite lenient. Though, I personally like the second translation better.
