I would like the phrase Knowledge in action is power [never mind the phrase on the thread title] to be translated into Latin.

Unless further context or explanation is provided, I can only propose litteral rendering.
Scientia in actione est potentia

I think in actu might be more appropriate.

However, I wonder whether it might not be better to reword it as something like Scientia qua utaris potentia est. (An impersonal passive would be better, IMO, but unfortunately that isn't an option here.)
