Question: How to identify this deity?

Hello.

I was looking for some sort of iconography in Hemera, and I found this, but... how do I know, or how can I be sure that this person is Hemera? (The site where I found the image does not help... It only shows the image.)

I don't have an answer, but I admire the problem. If you do a picture search on google, some websites claim this is Hemera, some others claim this is Nyx.

You could try looking it up in LIMC (Lexicon Iconographicum Mythologiae Classicae) and see what it says there, although copies are quite hard to find.
