Hello. Kalendae Iuniae is the day of Iuno Regina and Felicitas.
I have a question, maybe someone will give me some light.
A traveller arriving in a town, any town, say, Formiae, coming from Tarracina and Fundi, he arrives at Formiae and the next morning is the Calends of June, Juno Regina and Felicitas day... He's probably at a hotel (deversorium). Does he have to search for a local temple to make sacrifices to the gods? How does he participate of the day? Can he go on traveling that day? Does anyone recommend any books where I could read about it?
Thanks anyway
Gus
