Darn. Wish I could give you the English version, but like I said, I saw it on a website. The guy has it as his signature, and curiosity lead me here. Thanks for looking, though!

I agree this is from an on-line translator, and is not good Latin. My guess is that he meant to say "What our mind's eye shows us is only an illusion, but we are sure enough that we think."
