Today I would like the phrase on the thread title to be translated into Modern Latin if possible. I would like to use this quote as a motto so it is quite an important phrase,

Why do you need ‘Modern Latin’ if you’ve got the immortal classics aut cum scuto, aut in scuto, which seems to have the original ἢ τὰν ἢ ἐπὶ τᾶς.
