I was wondering if anybody could help me in translating the phrases -

'Be your own person'

'Strength of will'

Here is my version:

Strength of will - Vis voluntatis

With 'be your own person' there are some idiomatic problems, plus I am not really sure what you mean exactly in this case.

Proprius homo es )be your own man/person) might be an option, but I am not sure.
