Hello everyone, my first post here. I'm a World History teacher at work on a project based unit for our Roman unit.
As part of the political sphere of the project I'm going to allow my students (role-playing as the aristocratic political supporters of a politician hopeful of being elected Consul) the option of paying off their underclass followers to vandalize a public space with graffiti demeaning a rival politician. In the classroom I'll actually have a piece of chart paper designated as each group's public wall space, and when students buy the graffiti option they'll get to personally vandalize their chosen rival's space (I thought it would look so much cooler in Latin, and give my students some exposure to the language). Anyhow, now that I've explained the context, here are the things I need translated into Latin, which I hope are fairly straight forward. If you need to change the wording slightly to make it less of a hassle, by all means feel free. Each of the phrases will contain the last name of one of the politicians from the simulation where I have written "Sulla".
1. Sulla is corrupt
2. Do not vote for Sulla
3. Sulla is a dog
4. Sulla is a womanizer (or whatever term the Romans would have used)
5. Sulla is a coward
I actually have 15 more I need translated, but I didn't want to break the forum rules and post too many at once. Thanks so much for your help and be assured that it will greatly contribute to this project I'm attempting to put together. Please let me know if I need to give more info.
