What is this entire tapestry/tile a representation of?...
Please read Mark, chapter 16: "Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome ... came to the tomb [sc. of Jesus] ... and entering the tomb, they saw a young man cothed in a long white robe" and Matthew 28, 4: "And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men".

Yeah, it's that angel scene in the Testament. I was learning about how different complexions in Mediaeval art were implemented.

Well Dante and Virgil are fairly obvious but who are the two chaps fighting?
I was wondering as well. Someone who's read the Inferno and remembers it well would know, I suppose.
