The reference to the Belverdere Torso made me think of Frederic Leighton's work (An Athlete Wrestling with a Python)

Can you identify the female bust on the left side of Anne Vallayer-Coster's painting? :no-clue:
I have no idea (my guess it's either head of Venus of Milo or Ceres)

I don't know who the female bust depicts and from what sculpture it was taken but I was wondering if you've a liking for vanitas and Dutch still life?

I intend to choose a print from their ranks one day and pop it in an old ornate frame.
