Ok I think this is a serious issue and not some idea or wish only (name for an organization)...

Please translation to following lines:

The Order of the Black Venus

Free your mind, think yourself!

Thank you, the rest (if needed) I can do myself I hope...

Free your mind, think yourself!

The first phrase is, I think, the easier: libera mentem tuam.

The second is a little more uncertain. I assume that "think yourself" = "think for yourself". The problem with a straightforward tibi cogita is that a reader might well see that as "think of yourself" (though I believe that the last would be better Latinized as cogita de te ipso). It's a bit of a reach, but I think I like: cogitata tua propria cogita, "Think your own thoughts". The whole then would be:

Libera mentem tuam: Cogitata tua propria cogita.

I'm hoping that we'll get some other views, especially on the second phrase here.

For the second half, if the presumed "for" is equivalent to "on behalf of", would the simpler cogita pro te work?

I may be biased toward making the Latin as pithy as the English, but here I think it's warranted...

I'm all for pithy, Cato, but it seems to me that pro te, like tibi, says primarily "for your own sake" or "for your own benefit" rather than "independently". I could be wrong.

How about cogita independiter?

Well tnx... now I'm thinking why some ppl prefer using ORDO TEMPLI
instead of simple ORDO... anyone with religous knowledge?

In my case just ORDO is fine...
