Thoughts about the lack of sky in Roman art

It's difficult to find depictions of the sky, clouds, smoke, landscape, mountains, lakes, stars in Roman art. Only sun and moon are there.

I guess, in a way, it might be related to the fact that they personified everything... (Winds, the sky (Uranus), day, night, nature (Flora).)

Any thoughts?
