I am looking for the english to latin translation for the phrase:

To breathe is to live

I am trying to use this as a phrase for our Respiratory Therapy program that I am in. We might use it for a few things since our program deals heavily in science as well as latin medical translations. THANKS!!!

This is straightforward:

Spirare est vivere

Note the English word "respiration" comes from that first word, so it ties in nicely with your program.
