Underground Trees/ Deep Trees

I'm finding a term that describes trees which flourish from below the ground, like underground and under sea. By trees, I just mean the normal kind of trees. It isn't any kind of underwater plants that exist in nature. It's similar idea to 'water from below' or groundwater. Thank you!

Deep trees: arbores profundae.

Arbor, the word for "tree", is grammatically feminine.
