Hello Guys,

I have recently lost my mother and in her memory I am getting a tattoo. So here is the phrase "we part only to meet again"

Can anyone please help me out? Thankyou in advance.

Hello,

I'm sorry for your loss.

You could say discedimus tantum ut denuo conveniamus.

Perhaps shorter:

Congressuri digredimur
or Digredimur congressuri

Congressuri digredimur or Digredimur congressuri
The future active participle was what first occurred to me as well.

@juhi pandya , when you say "We part only to meet again", do you mean:

1) We part only in order that we may meet again in the future;
or
2) We part only because we know/intend/reasonably foresee that we will meet again.

Hey @Callaina the second one. We part only because we know that we will meet again.

I think I would go with @Agrippa 's suggestion, then.
