Hello All

As a fairly ignorant a level Latin student of some 22 years ago I am struggling to recall if i was correct in a recent argument....someone said to me that tu vita means your life...I thought it was tua vita. Are we both correct?

Thank you.

No, only you are correct. Perhaps the other person was confusing Latin with Spanish tu vida?

Alternatively, that other person probably did not use the cases correctly.
I am also known as Iohannes Aureus (John the Golden), though Aurum is used as my surname as Gold.

Proper context and perfect grammar are necessary for me to translate correctly, and I reserve the right to ask for additional context and/or revision!
