I have to translate sentance to Latin: Step by step through the life.
I have a couple of versions so I am interested in what the best or if someone has a better one.

Gradus per gradum per vitam.
Gradus per gradum per vitam eo.
Gradus per gradum per vitam ire.
Gradum facere per vitam.
Gradum per vitam facere.

They're a bit odd in how they're written... particularly the one with "wider" at the end.
