I found the following phrase in Hansen and Quinn and I was wondering whether my translation is quite accurate. (N.B. I only bothered with the Dative and Subjunctive diacritics here.)

εαν τῃ θεῷ ζωα τῡθῇ υπο του δημου, φυλαχθησομεθα υπο θεων
If animals will be sacrificed to the goddess by the people, we will be guarded by the gods.

Is the plural noun ζωα in concord with the third person singular passive aorist subjuctive τῡθῇ because it is neuter? Thanks in advance.

Ahh, good old Hansen and Quinn. Over and over again with those ridiculous conditionals.

You are quite right on all counts, only in English we generally (and something illogically) translate clauses like the first one 'If animals are sacrificed...', but that's neither here nor there, as they say.

Du hast sehr gut getan, Herr/Frau Kuba.
