I thought it would be interesting to see the translations for eminent corporate mottoes. The one I'd most like to see translated is Google's "Don't be Evil."

Why not ne malus sis and ne mali sitis?

Because using noli is stronger and simpler?

Noli(te) isn't necessarily more or less emphatic than ne + subj, and I wouldn't say it is simpler either.

noli[te] is much more straightforward and is the first option that comes to mind.

'Noli malus eſſe.' though its word-for-word meaning may be closer to 'Do not wiſh to be evil', is at leaſt an imperative. 'Ne malus ſis.' is a ſubjunctive meaning ſomething more like 'May thou not be evil.'

You're interpreting things literally, but both can be equivalent to a negative imperative in English.
