Need some help with this Beierwaltes snippet (again about Boethius).

I can't make any sense out of the second sentence (starting with "Freilich..." and ending with "...zu machen"). Please help :hide:

A bit -- but it's just the overall syntax of the sentence that I'm having trouble with, mostly.

It's true that recently we've moved away from regarding Scholasticism, which has a multiplicity of forms, exclusively as the effectual history of Aristotelian concepts, at least in its philosophy; however, it is still necessary from time to time to be explicit about its Platonic themes and concepts.

There's probably a more elegant way of doing that, but the sense should be more or less clear.
