Should one use the present active participle of reparare when translating the following sentence?
I have included the translation I have done of all but the portion in bold.

Grant me the power of bestowing a machine with the ability to repair itself.

Da mihi potestatem tribuendi machinam cum potestate.

Tribuo generally seems to be constructed with accusative (of this thing you're bestowing) and dative (of the person/entity you're bestowing it upon.)

I would say Da mihi potestatem tribuendi machinae potestatem se reparandi.

Though a less cumbersome way might be:

Da mihi potestatem efficiendi ut machina se reparare possit.

Grant me the power of causing a machine to be able to repair itself.
